Robertson Murray Launch

Charlotte Robertson and Hilary Murray are thrilled to announce the launch of Robertson Murray Literary Agency, a dynamic new literary agency in the heart of London representing fiction, general non-fiction and children’s books. RMLA is a division of the talent agency Arlington Management Ltd, run by Hilary Murray.
The agency will be headed up by Charlotte Robertson, most recently Director of Sales, Marketing and Paperbacks at Faber and Faber.

After four wonderful years at Faber, the opportunity to return to agenting with my own company under the Arlington umbrella was too good to resist. Having worked with Hilary and her stellar list of TV clients in the past, I know that I have a great foundation on which to build a list -- both from the roster of big names at Arlington and also finding the next generation of storytellers.

Prior to working at Faber, Charlotte was a book agent at Aitken Alexander and then United Agents. Before becoming an agent she worked at Simon and Schuster, Pan Macmillan, Penguin, Hodder Headline and Reed Books where she started her career in editorial.
Hilary Murray said:

The world of books and television has never been more co-dependent. It’s a natural step for Arlington to launch a book agency and in Charlotte I have found the best possible person to make it a success. She brings a huge wealth of expertise and knowledge to the company and has proved time and again through her impressive career that she knows how to make bestsellers.

Arlington specialises in managing and developing the careers of lifestyle and factual presenters and is official agent to a diverse range of talent, who are broadcast across a wide spectrum of channels. Hilary has 25 years in talent management and looks after some of the biggest names on TV including Ben Fogle, Kirstie and Phil, George Clarke, Tessa Dunlop, Matt Tebbutt and Anna Richardson.
