Yinka Ilori is a dynamic, colour-obsessed, multidisciplinary artist who specialises in visual storytelling by fusing playful conversation with contemporary design, and is one of Britain’s most sought-after young designer /artists. Yinka began his career by up-cycling vintage furniture, inspired by the traditional Nigerian parables and West African fabrics that surrounded him as a child, and his current work continues to marry his British and Nigerian heritage.
Yinka’s vibrant designs have been exhibited internationally, both in traditional gallery settings and in large-scale installations, and his clients include Somerset House, Dulwich Picture Gallery, Adidas, Bombay Sapphire, CitizenM Hotels, Pepsi, ITV, Pinterest, Wandsworth Council, Sanderson Hotel , Universal Music, Icon Magazine, and the Ethnographic Museum.
