Bernadette Strachan

Bernadette Strachan is the author of sixteen novels. The two most recent of these will be published by Simon and Schuster in 2019. Both are still in Title Hell, but one is a standalone under her well established pseudonym Juliet Ashton, and the other is the second instalment of a three book collaboration with her husband, the composer Matthew Strachan.

Born to an Irish family in London, Bernadette was a swot at school, yet had no idea what to do with herself, beyond read everything she could get her hands on. A meandering career path took her from running a wool shop to producing radio commercials to being a voiceover agent for various stellar actors.

Nowadays she writes all day at home in Surrey, occasionally lifting her head to raise her daughter and feed the dogs.
